Under the program scholarships will be awarded annually to the winner selected from the applicants who meet eligibility requirements.  Annually, one $500 scholarship will be awarded for the fall semester.  Any high school senior who has participated in a High School Collective Bargaining Workshop is eligible to apply for a scholarship.  Payment of the award will be made directly to the student upon providing the UPLMC with proof of enrollment.

Gerry Kendziorski Scholarship

 

Business & Project Manager Doreen Bower presented the 2016 U.P. Labor-Management Council Inc. $500 Gerry Kendziorski Scholarship to Elizabeth Lynch of Escanaba.  Elizabeth attended Escanaba High School and plans on continuing her education in Psychology.

Paula Swartout, Management Co-Chair, presented the 2015 U.P. Labor-Management Council, Inc. $500 Gerry Kendziorski Scholarship to Brock Grenier of Quinnesec.  Brock attended Iron Mountain High School and plans on continuing his education as an Athletic Trainer or Physical Therapist.


Bailey Dalgord of Escanaba received the 2014 $500 Gerry Kendziorski Schoolcraft from the U.P. Labor-Management Council.  Bailey was a student at Escanaba High School and Delta-Schoolcraft ISD Career a Technology Center.  Bailey plans on continuing her education in the business field.

Labor-Management Council, Inc. awarded its $500 Gerry Kendziorski scholarship to high school senior Brooke Wilder-Corrigan of Lake Linden.  Brooke attended Lake Linden-Hubbell High School.  Brooke plans on attending Lakeland College in Sheboygan, majoring in pre-dentistry.  Brooke would like to become an orthodontist.
